- We have an opening for a qualified stable person right now,as one of our riders may have to have a small operation soon,which will put her out for awhile!
Kaposvar/Oct.2011 11/11/2011 The winter pause has started, and I am very happy to concentrate on training instead of showing for awhile! This is the time of year one can experiment with higher levels and test the horses' capabilities! The weather has been fantastic so hacking out is still a big factor!I am lookinf forward to spending Christmas in Canada with my older daughter and her two children my Grandchildren!!! and ofcourse her husband Jeff.At the same time, I will babysit Anton, while Belinda has a break. The new year can begin!!!
Just got home today from Kaposvar,CDI tired but happy.Dio Mio had a good show and was 2nd twice, in the St.George with 68.39% and in the Int 1 with 69.4.It goes to show how tough all the competition is when the top 3 horses were all withing 1 percent of eachother!
I was especially happy with Florencia 22, my wonderful 5 yr old who won the FEI 5 yr old test on the first day and was 2nd in the second test on day two.She was frightened,but obedient in her first big indoor show with advertising signs,cars,flowers etc!

 The European Dressage Championships are over,and it has certainly changed the look of the dressage scene in many ways!
I saw it coming in Hagen and in Wattens,where Carl Hester presented his fantastic horse,andalso Charlotte Dujardin with TWO fantastic horses.The Brits are ready for the Olympics BIG TIME!
The "mythos" that surrounded Totilas is gone...he is beatable...personally I love this horse,he has gone now for two riders,he has a great attitude and incredible nerves...he is BLACK and BEAUTIFUL....
The other clear fact immerging from the Europeans is that there are a lot of good horses and riders coming from countries that in the past have not been able to get it together...the 30th horse and therefore qualified for the Special had 68.024%!!! Sixty Four Horses started.....!
The bar has been raised very clearly once again.....

We have had two very good competitions in the last two weeks.InGut Riedshausen Dio Mio was a star and won the Inter 1 with a 69.8%.Florencia the 5 year old really came into her own,and was 2nd both days in the Dressage Horse L class with 7,8, and then a very gratifying 8,0 in the Dressage Horse M class...her first M level class with flying changes!
Udo had a very nice GP on DREAM,and a score of 66% His young 7 yr old was also 2nd in the Open M class with 67%
This weekend we are in Mariakalnok,Hungary,where Udo is training his pupil Robert Aczs.
I am sure Robert is heading for the Hungarian Title having won the Inter 2 and the GP yesterday.Dio Mio put in a super Inter 1 here with all 3 international judges scoring him at 71% including Evi Eisenhardt Germany's O judge.We are tired and a little sunburnt,it was really HOT all weekend and now the horses are going to have a well deserved break!
Super news from Belinda competing at the Ontario Championships this weekend...BIASINI scored big with 77% the first day and a mind boggling 80% the second day!!!
